Choosing the Right Vase for Your Floral -or- The Right Floral for Your Vase

Simply put-your flowers should be no more than 1 1/2 to 2 times the height of your vase. Of course, location and personal preference always play into the final decision. I have lined up the same flower/vase combination 4 ways. Short, Medium, Tall and Extra Tall.
Which one of these looks right to you? At first glance, which one makes you say, "YES, that's it!"

Ok-down to business!
I have created a cute, quick and inexpensive fall tray for the kitchen. FYI-all items but the pumpkins and filler are available at Amazon. I will provide the links below.
Short...
Cute, right--but be honest...do these flowers look a little stumpy or no? Like they're waiting for a booster seat? Would you keep it or fix it? (At the end I'll tell you my favorite)

Medium...
Now, we are talking about balance. The flowers are about the same height as the vase-safe simple and every day pretty. Would this be your pick for your kitchen counter?

Tall...
Oooh, this is where it starts to feel fancy. One to two times taller than the vase. This one-the floral is 6" and the vase is 6". Too much? I think this one depends on where the vase is located.

Extra Tall...
Gorgeous, but a little "look at meeeeee". Works on an island, but on your countertop it might be a little bit tight.

Each of these items is available from Amazon. If you are interested please click on the item you would like to purchase. Note-this is a smaller tray with accessories-the vase is 6" high.

Wrap up...
My favorite? The medium. I like the short and tall-but it's back to what works best in my own home. Decorating rules are guidelines. Have fun and...
Happy Decorating!
